I am a PhD researcher at Delft University of Technology’s Multimedia Information Retrieval Lab. My research interests are Information Retrieval, Data Mining, Machine Translation and Statistical NLP.

From 2010 to 2013, I visited the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica in Amsterdam on a weekly basis.

In 2012 and 2013, I visited Microsoft Research in Redmond, WA as a Summer intern.

From 2009 to 2012, I was employed on the PuppyIR project to develop child-friendly information access on the Internet.
